Burroughs was recently awarded funding to support our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, our After School Girl's Group, the Quick Start Language Center (QSLC) and our Women Infant Children Partnership (WIC) by The Burroughs Fund for Women.
Burroughs recently received the honor of placing first overall in the second annual Bridgeport Community Land Trust’s Gardeners’ Contest. Our community garden received first place for “Garden with the best youth plot”, “Most butterfly-friendly garden”, “Garden with the best compost system” and “Best themed garden.”
